I dreamed of The Southern District when I was 19 years old. At first, it was just an escape; a fictional location where I could be everything I ever desired to be, achieve everything I ever yearned to achieve. Up until that point, I had traveled the world mostly by way of turning pages in books. I felt like my life was every bit of what I had been given, and none of what I could create.

All of that changed.

The goal today, and for all the rest of my days, is to shape my world, my existence, through my dreams. We are stronger than we know. I'm a living testimony to the fact that dreams come true. We must not only imagine our deepest desires, but also put passionate action behind our creative ideas in order to design a better world for ourselves and those around us. The Southern District was just a dream, but I grew it into my reality. I encourage and applaud you as you do the same.
